Trump Says U.S. Waited Until Iran Nearly Rebuilt Radar, Then Struck It

President Donald Trump said U.S. forces monitored Iran as it rebuilt radar systems after earlier strikes and waited until the work was nearly complete before attacking them again. In a phone interview with correspondent Trey Yingst, Trump said the United States had hit many radar sites and left Iran unable to see incoming threats. He also said Gulf allies received advance notice of the latest U.S. strikes. Trump warned that any Iranian response would bring much heavier attacks, while U.S. Central Command said the completed wave targeted air defenses, radar, maritime assets, mine-laying capabilities and communications sites.
