Knesset Sets Urgent Hearing on Medical Reviews for Disabled IDF Veterans

The Knesset Labor and Welfare Committee scheduled an urgent Wednesday hearing on medical committees and recognition procedures in the Defense Ministry's Rehabilitation Department after an appeal from the Fighting Diamonds forum. The forum says wounded veterans face prolonged proceedings, repeated panels and uncertainty over status and rights, and objects to what it describes as widespread temporary-disability determinations.
