More permission to build. Fewer homes certified complete.

A report released on 16 September 2026 compares Israel's housing figures for 2025 with 2024: homes granted building permits rose 11.5%, while homes receiving completion certificates fell 10%.

These totals measure different stages. They do not show how many homes permitted in 2025 were finished that year.
