IDF Seals Rafah Tunnel Where Hamas Held Hadar Goldin

The IDF and Shin Bet sealed the Rafah tunnel system where Hamas held the body of Lt. Hadar Goldin, who was killed during the 2014 Gaza war. The tunnel network ran more than 16 kilometers under civilian areas, contained command rooms and living quarters, and was filled with about 30,000 cubic meters of sealing material after months of engineering work. Goldin's remains were returned during the war after years of Hamas cruelty toward his family. Destroying the site denies Hamas another protected underground asset and honors Israel's duty to its soldiers and their families.
