Hamas Delegation Reaches Cairo for Gaza Phase-Two Talks

A senior Hamas delegation led by West Bank chief Zaher Jabarin arrived in Cairo for talks with Egyptian officials and mediators on implementing the Gaza ceasefire and moving toward its second phase. Israeli and regional reports say Taher al-Nunu put reconstruction materials, humanitarian access and the Sharm el-Sheikh terms on the agenda, while the Board of Peace roadmap would bring a technocratic administration and international forces. For Israel, the decisive condition remains Hamas disarmament, not another diplomatic cycle that leaves the terror army armed. Talks can help only if they move Gaza from Hamas control to demilitarized governance under enforceable security conditions.
