IDF and Shin Bet Kill Hamas Platoon Commander Asfour

The IDF and Shin Bet announced that an aerial strike in southern Gaza on Tuesday killed Adel Jihad Mohammad Asfour, a platoon commander in Hamas's military wing. Times of Israel, Jerusalem Post, Kikar, Israel National News and Walla all report the same IDF-Shin Bet account: Asfour advanced sniper fire and explosive-device attacks against IDF troops during the war, recently tried to rebuild Hamas capabilities, and was moving imminent attack plans. The strike removes another Hamas field commander before he can threaten soldiers holding Gaza lines. Israel must keep applying precise pressure while Hamas tries to reconstitute under ceasefire cover.
