IDF Kills Hamas Commander Who Helped Abduct Three Nir Oz Residents

The IDF said it killed Hamas cell commander Asma Kamal Shehadeh Abu Tim in a strike in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday. Abu Tim infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7 massacre and took part in abducting Nurit Cooper, Amiram Cooper and Alexander Dancyg. The military said he continued advancing terrorist attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians throughout the war and in recent months. It said precise munitions and aerial surveillance were used before the strike to reduce harm to civilians.
