The IDF identified Fares Al-Masri, a department head in Hamas’s weapons-production headquarters, and Muhammad Abu Shakyan, a Hamas Nukhba operative, as two terrorists killed in separate northern Gaza strikes last Tuesday. The military said Al-Masri manufactured weapons for Hamas’s efforts to rebuild its capabilities in violation of the ceasefire. It said both men had recently advanced attack plans targeting IDF troops and Israeli civilians. The IDF said the strikes removed the threat and that it used precision munitions and aerial surveillance to reduce harm to civilians.
