IDF Kills PIJ Sniper and Hamas Operations Officer in Gaza

IDF airstrikes on Friday killed a Palestinian Islamic Jihad sniper in central Gaza and a Hamas Operations Headquarters officer in northern Gaza, the military said Saturday night. The IDF identified the sniper as Imam Khamis Akasha Abu Brikh, saying he recently advanced sniper attacks against Israeli troops. It named the Hamas officer as Muhammad Taysir Ahmad Ubeid, a commander who advanced attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers throughout the war. The military said both men posed an immediate threat to forces and that Southern Command troops remain deployed under the agreement.
