Netanyahu Keeps Gaza Voluntary Migration on Table

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Channel 14 that voluntary migration from Gaza remains on the agenda and declined to rule out renewed Jewish settlement, saying he prefers doing to talking when action is required. JPost carried the same Channel 14 exchange, and a C14 follow-up reported MKs Zvi Sukkot and Avichai Boaron pressing him to turn the opening into policy. Netanyahu's answer fits Israel's post-October 7 security doctrine: Hamas cannot be allowed another sovereign base beside Israeli communities, and public declarations should not box Israel in before decisions are made. The comments sharpen a campaign fault line over Gaza's day after, with the Israeli right pressing for territorial depth and Jewish return as security tools.
