IDF Hunts Suspects After Beit Ummar Ramming Attempt

The IDF said at 16:30 IDT that troops from the Etzion Brigade rushed to the area near Beit Ummar after a report of an attempted ramming attack. The military said there were no casualties and that soldiers opened a pursuit of the suspects while conducting searches in the area. Follow-up updates confirmed the same facts through 16:46. The attempt underscores the constant terror pressure facing soldiers and civilians in Judea and Samaria. Israel should keep rapid-response forces in place, pursue the suspects and protect communities without letting a no-injury incident blur the attackers' intent.
