IDF Says Beit Ummar Ramming Suspect Detained at Metzadot Yehuda

At 19:08 IDT, the IDF and Defense Ministry said crossing-authority guards and IDF troops detained the Palestinian suspect in the Beit Ummar ramming attempt near the Metzadot Yehuda Crossing. Police had reported at 17:00 that an Israeli-plated vehicle driven by a Palestinian suspect fled Keren Farm near Karmei Tzur after allegedly entering the farm, attacking an Israeli resident and trying to ram him. The IDF's 16:30 alert said troops responded near Beit Ummar, found no injuries and opened a pursuit. The quick detention matters because Judea and Samaria communities need persistent security pressure after no-injury attacks too.
