Haredi Hasmonean Cadets Finish First Officer-Course Stage

The first officer cadets in the IDF's Hasmonean Brigade for Haredi soldiers completed the basic stage of their officers' course this week, with updates at 13:18 and 13:30 IDT. The ceremony took place Wednesday at Tel Faher in the Golan Heights, where the cadets received platoon-commander pins after a 12-kilometer march; eight cadets received pins after a separate course and will now continue corps completion training. The first cohort received pins and will now begin completion training before becoming the brigade's first officers. The milestone strengthens Israel's manpower base while proving serious combat service can respect Torah observance and the Haredi way of life.
