Emek Refaim Detours Show Blue Line Disruption

Jerusalem residents and visitors are again asking how long temporary traffic changes around Emek Refaim and Blue Line light-rail work will last. The municipality's official Blue Line page and Hebrew local reports say the Emek Refaim section is under phased work for about six months, with southbound buses 77 and 77A to Malha and 97 to Ramat Rachel detoured via Martin Luther King, Dubnov, Chopin, HaPalmach, Kovshei Katamon and Elazar HaModai. Line 34 toward Talpiot is also diverted. This is routine but real infrastructure news: Jerusalem's rail buildout will serve families, tourists and worshippers only if detours stay clear, accessible and on schedule.
