Israel Railways to Close Kfar Chabad, Lod Ganei Aviv for Works

Israel Railways said July 5 that essential safety and infrastructure works near Kfar Chabad will disrupt train service from Thursday through Saturday, July 9-11. Kfar Chabad and Lod Ganei Aviv stations will close temporarily, while regular Lod-Tel Aviv service will be replaced by a dedicated hourly Lod-Tel Aviv Savidor train and free shuttles. Beersheba-Nahariya, Beersheba-Karmiel, Ashkelon-Binyamina, Rehovot-Netanya and Beit Shemesh-Netanya lines will run in split formats. The maintenance is inconvenient, but strengthening rail safety and keeping passengers informed is responsible national infrastructure work.
