Cabinet Approves NIS 27M Judea-Samaria Hotel Plan

The cabinet on July 5 approved a NIS 27 million plan to accelerate hotel construction in Judea and Samaria. The decision removes hotel-planning barriers and funds grants: NIS 7 million from the Tourism Ministry's current budget, spread equally through 2026-2030, for statutory planning, rights realization and land marketing based on ministry mapping; plus NIS 20 million from the development budget for construction, conversion and expansion of accommodation facilities. The plan creates a dedicated grant route for an area where the capital-investment law does not apply. Orderly development of the Jewish heartland strengthens tourism, local jobs and Israel's historical narrative.
