IDF Strikes Hezbollah Motorcycle Cell in Southern Lebanon

IDF Strikes Hezbollah Motorcycle Cell in Southern Lebanon

At 8:22 p.m. IDT, the IDF said soldiers identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell moving on motorcycles in the Al-Uqaydah area of southern Lebanon, adjacent to the security zone where Israeli forces are operating. The cell's activity posed a threat to the soldiers, and the IDF conducted a precise strike to remove that threat. The strike shows why Israel must keep active freedom of action near the border until Hezbollah's Iranian-backed forces can no longer use southern Lebanon to menace Israeli communities or troops.
