IDF Warns Northern Towns Ahead of Powerful Planned Blasts in Lebanon

The IDF warned residents of Metula and Misgav Am to open windows Thursday night ahead of powerful planned detonations in Lebanon, reducing the risk that blast pressure would shatter glass. Residents across the Ramim Ridge, Hula Valley and northern Golan were told explosions could be heard between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m., with no unusual instructions for other communities. The notice followed an explosive-drone attack on an IDF engineering vehicle and came as Israel weighed a response to Hezbollah’s ceasefire violation. The military did not publicly identify the planned target in the notices.
