Netanyahu Says Iran Won't Get Nukes, Deal or No Deal
In a July 5 U.S. television interview, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected talk of a Trump rift and set Israel's Iran red line. He said Israel and the United States share the goal of removing Iran's nuclear-weapons program, enriched material and enrichment sites. He said he hopes Trump's negotiations succeed, but deal or no deal, Iran will not have nuclear weapons while he is prime minister. The message keeps Israel aligned with Washington while preserving independent action against a regime that openly threatens the Jewish state.
