Cyera in Advanced Talks to Acquire Israeli Cyber Firm Oasis Security for Over $1 Billion
Israeli-founded cybersecurity unicorn Cyera is in advanced negotiations to acquire fellow Israeli cyber startup Oasis Security in a deal valued at more than $1 billion, structured as roughly thirty percent cash and the remainder in Cyera shares, sources familiar with the talks said. The move would be Cyera's sixth acquisition in under eighteen months, following Genie Security, Ryft, Trail Security, Otterize and Shape AI, and follows Cyera's own $600 million round last month at a $12 billion valuation. Cyera was co-founded in 2021 by Talpiot program and Unit 8200 veterans Yotam Segev and Tamar Bar-Ilan, and has raised roughly $2.3 billion to date. Oasis Security was founded in 2022 by Danny Brickman and Amit Zimerman, has raised about $195 million including a $120 million March Series B led by Craft Ventures with participation from Sequoia, Accel and Cyberstarts, and builds what it calls agentic access management for enterprise environments where machine identities vastly outnumber human users. Neither company has made a formal public announcement.
