IDF Says Gaza Strike Hit Five Tunnel-Rebuild Terrorists

The IDF said in a fresh official update that it struck five Hamas terrorists over the weekend as they tried to rebuild underground terror infrastructure in northern Gaza, west of the Yellow Line. The strike killed Huthaifa Hussein Abdullah al-Hawajri, identified by the military as a Nukhba terrorist in Hamas's East Jabaliya Battalion, and additional hits were identified on other terrorists. Southern Command forces remain deployed under the agreement and are continuing to remove immediate threats. The update matters because Hamas is still trying to restore underground combat capacity while publicly marketing governance handovers. Israel's ceasefire discipline cannot mean allowing terror tunnels to return.
