Israeli Intern Says Boston Hospital Retaliated Over Antisemitism Report

Current July 6 Israel-time reporting says the Brandeis Center filed a federal civil-rights complaint alleging Boston Medical Center discriminated and retaliated against a Jewish Israeli mental-health counseling intern after she reported antisemitic material in a shared clinical workspace. The complaint says colleagues ostracized her, physically separated her from the clinical team, denied debriefs and mentorship opportunities, and gave her a negative final evaluation that could harm her career. Brandeis is asking HHS OCR to require corrective evaluation and reference relief, adoption of the IHRA antisemitism definition and stronger training. Diaspora Jewish and Israeli trainees deserve protected workplaces when they report anti-Jewish intimidation.
