IDF and Shin Bet announced that recent precise strikes in Gaza killed Ahmad Yahya Ibrahim Batsh, a Hamas Nukhba cell commander, and Hamouda Abu Daqa, a commander in Hamas's military intelligence unit. Batsh was killed Sunday in northern Gaza after advancing terror attack plans against IDF troops throughout the war and in recent days. Abu Daqa was killed Monday in southern Gaza after collecting intelligence on Israeli forces to direct attacks and posing an immediate threat. The announcement presents the strikes as part of Israel's continuing effort to remove Hamas commanders before their intelligence and elite-unit networks can endanger soldiers.
