IDF Kills Nirim Nukhba Cell Commander in Gaza Strike

The IDF said it killed Mohammed Emad Alrahman Abu Taima, a Hamas Nukhba cell commander, in a precise airstrike in the southern Gaza Strip. The military said Abu Taima raided Kibbutz Nirim during the October 7 massacre and later commanded ambushes against Israeli troops, trained operatives and tried to recruit additional terrorists. Israeli reports said the strike took place Tuesday and that the target posed an immediate threat to forces operating in Gaza. The killing keeps Israel's post-October 7 campaign focused on named Hamas terrorists who crossed into Israeli communities and continued rebuilding attack capabilities during the war.
