Security footage released Wednesday showed a masked man breaking the glass entrance door at Haaretz's Tel Aviv offices overnight and fleeing. Haaretz's Hebrew and English reports describe two bricks thrown at the door; another direct report described a stone, but all accounts agree the entrance was smashed. The reports linked the incident to Sunday's smashing of the Channel 12 News entrance door in Tel Aviv, and one said police suspect the same person may be involved in both cases. They also placed it after months of threatening graffiti against journalists and media offices.
