US Says Iran Strikes Hit Over 80 Targets and IRGC Boats

U.S. Central Command said American forces completed a new round of offensive strikes against Iran late Tuesday, hitting more than 80 targets with precision munitions after Iranian forces attacked three commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. officials said the target list included air-defense systems, command-and-control networks, coastal radar sites, anti-ship missile capabilities and IRGC small boats in or near the strait. The update followed Washington's revocation of Iran's oil-export license and Tehran's claim that the move breached the war memorandum. A U.S. official said Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was due in Israel Wednesday to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about Iran and related regional issues.
