Netanyahu Uses Pilot-Course Ceremony to Stress Iran Nuclear Deterrence

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the IDF's 192nd pilot-course graduation at Hatzerim on Thursday that Iran will not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons, with or without a deal. He said Israel and the United States acted to avert an immediate threat, that Israeli pilots flew thousands of sorties, and that the strikes destroyed nuclear and ballistic-missile infrastructure while preserving Israel's air superiority. Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel is ready to return to Iran with greater force if threats renew, and IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said the military is watching Iran and Lebanon closely. The ceremony kept Israel's Iran policy anchored in deterrence, independent capability and coordination with Washington.
