Gaza Stabilization Force Shrinks to Small Moroccan Start

A July 10 report says the International Stabilization Force for Gaza, envisioned at 20,000 troops under President Donald Trump's postwar plan, is struggling to begin with only about 10 to 20 Moroccan personnel training near the Gaza border in Israel before any limited Gaza operations. The force is meant to secure a post-Hamas Gaza transition, support a technocratic Palestinian administration and prevent Hamas from rebuilding military rule. Earlier reports already confirmed that four Moroccan officers had reached the Kiryat Gat headquarters as the first visible Arab contingent, while deployment progress remained limited. Hamas's refusal to disarm, unfinished mission sites, slow funding and Iran-Lebanon instability leave Israel facing a security track in which the replacement force is not yet able to hold territory.
