Highway 35 Crash Kills Motorcycle Rider Near Kiryat Gat

A motorcycle rider about 25 was killed Saturday in a crash on Highway 35 near the Kiryat Gat interchange after a vehicle struck her motorcycle. Reports citing rescue crews said the call reached MDA's Lachish dispatch at 15:46, and teams found the rider unconscious, pulseless and not breathing, with severe multi-system trauma, in the roadway. They pronounced her dead at the scene. A woman driver in her 30s was evacuated to Barzilai Medical Center in moderate condition with lower-limb injuries, and another woman was evacuated lightly hurt. The reports said the collision involved the motorcycle and a car near the interchange.
