Khanna Says Armed Settlers Blocked West Bank Delegation

U.S. Representative Ro Khanna said settlers armed with U.S.-made M4 rifles blocked his delegation's van during a southern West Bank visit near Khirbet Zanuta, and an aide said the group was held for more than an hour before officers intervened. The Israeli military said troops and police responded to a report of Israeli civilians blocking vehicles, dispersed them and allowed the vehicles to continue. The reports placed the incident inside a wider Democratic debate over U.S. aid to Israel, while Israel rejected Khanna's broader genocide and apartheid allegations and said Judea and Samaria is disputed territory with a Jewish presence stretching back thousands of years.
