COGAT Cites UN Finding That Hamas Halted Jabalia Food Aid

COGAT said Monday morning that a UN report found Hamas terrorists forcibly entered a World Food Programme distribution site in Jabalia on Saturday, stopping daily food deliveries to thousands of families. The UN statement said armed personnel affiliated with Gaza's de facto authorities entered the Abu Rashid point and a WFP warehouse, and reportedly assaulted two truck drivers delivering humanitarian supplies. COGAT said the episode fit a recurring pattern of intimidation, violence and disruption, arguing that Hamas was seizing aid and undermining civilian distribution. UN coordinator Ramiz Alakbarov condemned the interference and called for humanitarian personnel and relief supplies to be protected.
