The IDF identified Mustafa Oweisi Monday as a weapons smuggler for Hamas killed in a southern Gaza airstrike on Sunday. The military said Oweisi had moved weapons into the Strip during the war and recently sought to bring in more equipment to help rebuild Hamas’s military wing, in violation of the ceasefire agreement. The equipment was intended for Hamas operations in the maritime and aerial domains. The IDF said Oweisi posed a threat to Israeli troops, while Southern Command forces remain deployed under the agreement and will continue acting against immediate threats.
