IDF Kills Hamas Naval Cell Commander Rebuilding Maritime Capabilities

The IDF said it killed Osama Naim Hamdi Shamlakh, a Hamas naval-array cell commander, in a Monday airstrike in Gaza City. The military said Shamlakh had worked during the war and recently to rebuild the terror organization's maritime force and advance attacks from the sea. In a separate northern Gaza strike, the IDF killed three armed Hamas terrorists who were trying to attack Israeli troops and posed an imminent threat. The military said it used precision munitions and aerial surveillance to reduce civilian harm, and that Southern Command forces remain deployed under the ceasefire to remove immediate threats.
