Iranian Military Claims New Drone Strikes on U.S. Positions in Kuwait
Iran's armed forces said early Monday that a new wave of one-way attack drones targeted U.S. troop positions, air- and missile-defense systems, shelters and support facilities in Kuwait. The IRGC separately claimed its missiles destroyed fuel storage and a Patriot system at Ali Al Salem Air Base and an FPS strategic radar at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base. Hebrew and international reports confirmed Tehran had announced another regional retaliation round after U.S. strikes on Iran, but neither Kuwait nor the United States had independently confirmed hits or damage at publication time. Kuwait hosts U.S. forces and had already reported damage from attacks during the confrontation.
