IRGC Claims Fifth Retaliation Phase Hit Two U.S. Radars in Oman

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said Monday that its fifth retaliation phase targeted U.S. military facilities in Juffair, Bahrain, and two radar systems in Oman. The IRGC claimed coordinated missile and drone strikes destroyed an FPS long-range air-surveillance radar and a maritime-surveillance radar, and said fires were rising from the Bahrain facilities. Neither Oman, Bahrain nor the United States had independently confirmed the claimed hits or damage at publication time. The new claim came during renewed U.S.-Iran exchanges over freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, alongside Iranian attacks across U.S.-aligned Gulf states.
