Multiple Explosions Reported in Iran’s Bushehr Province

Multiple explosions were heard in Bushehr city shortly after 3:10 a.m. Iran time on Tuesday, following earlier reports of several blasts in Jam elsewhere in Bushehr Province. Iranian reports did not identify a target or cause, and no official statement, damage assessment or confirmed casualties accompanied the latest accounts. The reports emerged during a third consecutive night of U.S. strikes on Iranian capabilities after renewed attacks on Gulf shipping and regional bases. U.S. Central Command said its operation was targeting capabilities that threaten civilians and commercial shipping, but it did not publicly identify Bushehr as a target.
