U.S. Official Confirms Fresh Airstrikes Are Underway in Iran

A U.S. official confirmed that American forces were conducting a fresh round of airstrikes in Iran on Tuesday evening. The official said the attacks had already been underway for roughly two hours when the confirmation was issued. The confirmation came as Washington and Tehran continued exchanging limited strikes despite ongoing negotiations based on their June memorandum of understanding.
