Jordan Intercepts Three Iranian Ballistic Missiles

Jordan's Armed Forces said air defenses intercepted and shot down three ballistic missiles that entered the kingdom's airspace from Iranian territory before dawn Wednesday. The military said the defensive action caused no casualties or property damage, while Royal Engineers secured debris that fell at several sites. Jordan said its airspace is inseparable from its sovereignty and that it would respond to any breach under its rules of engagement. The interceptions came as Iran claimed attacks on Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait amid renewed U.S.-Iran exchanges after Washington restored its blockade of Iranian ports.
