Iranian Missile Barrage Sends Doha Residents to Shelter

Qatar warned residents to take shelter early Friday as an Iranian missile barrage targeted the country, while explosions were heard over Doha and air defenses fired to intercept incoming missiles. The attack followed another night of U.S. strikes on Iranian targets, including bridges, and earlier Iranian fire at Bahrain and Kuwait. The renewed exchange came after last month's interim ceasefire collapsed amid fighting over the Strait of Hormuz. Qatar has been working with Pakistan to mediate an end to the Iran war, but the latest talks have broken down over Tehran's chokehold on the waterway.
