Iran Claims U.S. Aircraft Strike in Bahrain as Kuwait Intercepts New Barrage

Sirens sounded across Bahrain early Friday, and the Interior Ministry told residents to remain calm and move to the nearest safe place. Iran's army said its eleventh Thunder operation targeted U.S. helicopters and P-8 reconnaissance aircraft at Sakhir Airbase, warning it would respond rapidly to any counterattack. Kuwait's military said its air defenses were intercepting hostile missiles and drones following Iranian aggression, with explosion sounds caused by interceptions. The new regional volley followed another overnight U.S. strike wave against Iranian military infrastructure, including bridges, as fighting entered a sixth consecutive day.
