Vance Alleges Israeli Officials Funded Campaign Against Iran Talks

U.S. Vice President JD Vance alleged in a podcast interview released Wednesday that Israeli government figures were financing covert influence campaigns to sway American opinion and undermine his Iran negotiations. He said people who received money attacked him dishonestly and that the effort sought to prolong the war without a defined objective. Vance said a former Trump campaign operative was paid by certain Israeli government figures because of his negotiating role. He argued that foreign governments routinely seek influence, while American leaders must keep national interests ahead of outside pressure.
