President Donald Trump said the United States has no interest in meeting Iran until Tehran is ready for meaningful talks, even as he said Iranian officials are seeking a meeting to end the fighting. Speaking in the Oval Office, Trump said Iran was being “decimated” by U.S. attacks. The remarks came as U.S. and Iranian strikes continued for a 10th straight day and Pakistan tried to revive the collapsed interim ceasefire. Iran has continued attacks on U.S. allies and shipping while resisting demands to restore free passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
