Iranian Interior Minister Meets Pakistan PM as Mediation Push Continues

Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni met Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister's House in Islamabad on Tuesday, the Pakistani leader's office said. The meeting followed Momeni's talks with army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir as Pakistan sought to revive the collapsed interim U.S.-Iran agreement. No details of the closed-door meetings were immediately released. The diplomacy unfolded during a tenth day of renewed U.S.-Iran attacks, with Tehran continuing strikes against American allies in the Gulf and Washington targeting Iranian command, maritime, missile, drone and air-defense sites.
