Houthi Leader Threatens Saudi Oil Sites and Riyadh Airport

Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi threatened that Saudi oil facilities and other vital infrastructure would become targets for the Iran-backed group's missiles and drones if Riyadh escalated the Yemen conflict. In a televised address, he said the group's response to this week's Sanaa airport strike was modest and declared an "airports for airports, ports for ports, and blockade for blockade" equation, naming Riyadh airport. The warning followed Houthi missile and drone fire at Abha International Airport after the group blamed Saudi Arabia for the Sanaa strike. Al-Houthi also raised the possibility of renewed confrontations with Israel, the United States and Britain.
