Morocco Signs Gaza Stabilization Force Participation Agreement

Morocco signed the legal framework for its participation in the International Stabilization Force planned for Gaza. Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and Defense Administration Minister Abdeltif Loudyi met in Rabat with Gaza Board of Peace representative Nickolay Mladenov and the force commander before the signing. The agreement covers technical and operational aspects of Morocco's role, including senior military officers, gendarmerie and police personnel, plus a field hospital. The force will support humanitarian aid delivery and train Palestinian police under the postwar plan, whose second phase also calls for Hamas to disarm and Israel to withdraw as implementation advances.
