New U.S. Strike Wave Reaches Southern Iran

U.S. forces launched a new wave of strikes on Iran at about 9:30 p.m. Iran time, in the sixth consecutive night of American attacks according to CENTCOM. Iranian state media reported strikes or explosions around Qeshm Island, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr along the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. command said the operation was intended to further degrade Iranian military capabilities, but did not immediately release a target list. No immediate casualty or damage assessment was available for the new wave.
