Security Forces Foil 70-Kilogram Hashish Smuggling to Jordan

Israel Police, IDF and Border Police forces thwarted an attempt to smuggle about 70 kilograms of suspected hashish from Israel into Jordan on Friday. Officers from the Northern District central unit's border division, IDF troops and the Judea and Samaria Border Police tactical unit identified three southern residents near the fence by Kfar Ruppin. Security forces closed in, seized the suspected drugs and arrested two people, according to the official announcement. The suspects were transferred to the Northern District central unit for further investigation; authorities did not identify them or explain what happened to the third person spotted.
