IDF troops and Southern Border Police located and destroyed 24 illegal cannabis greenhouses inside military training zones in southern Israel. Sixteen active greenhouses held about 9,950 suspected marijuana plants, while six caches contained roughly 166 kilograms of dried marijuana flowers and 400 grams of suspected hashish. The operation also involved the Green Patrol of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority. Authorities destroyed the findings under established procedures and a court order, then transferred the investigation to the Segev Shalom police station.
