Electric Scooter Rider, 58, Moderately Hurt in Ashdod Collision

Emergency dispatchers received a report at 3:33 p.m. Sunday that an electric scooter rider had been struck by a vehicle on Rambam Street in Ashdod. Magen David Adom medics and paramedics treated the 58-year-old man and evacuated him for hospital care in moderate condition with multisystem injuries. The initial notices did not identify the rider or driver, describe the vehicle, state whether anyone else was hurt, or explain how the collision occurred. They also gave no police investigation, traffic closure or later medical update.
