U.S. Completes Eighth Iran Strike Night, Hits Air-Defense and Missile Sites

U.S. Central Command completed its eighth consecutive night of strikes against Iran at 11:30 p.m. Eastern time Saturday, 6:30 a.m. Sunday in Israel. CENTCOM said American forces hit Iranian coastal-surveillance and air-defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites. The military also targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces that launched attacks against U.S. service members in Jordan on July 17, following an assault that killed two American troops, left one missing and hospitalized four. The announcement gave no target count, casualty figure or damage assessment.
